This whole format war is ridiculous and pointless.

I'm going with HD-DVD in the short term (who can turn down a sub-$200 HD-DVD player?), but I will be watching for a reasonably priced dual-format player.

Not a format war fan, but it makes me glad that Blu Ray seems to be gaining ground. It's a superior technology.

Still haven't bought either yet.
